Made for a King

Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful presents the premiere of ‘Made For A King’, a documentary that delves into Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s last visit to Macon, GA on March 23, 1968. The documentary was inspired by a mural of Dr. King commissioned by Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful in the fall of 2024. Join us at the Historic Douglass Theatre on Friday, March 21, 2025, at

7 PM for an evening that explores the connection between beauty, history, and culture through personal stories of this historic visit. Following the premiere, Pastor Paul Little of Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church will lead a community discussion.
