On Wednesday, June 8, Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful (KMBB) visited the Museum of Arts and Sciences for World Oceans Day, an international day that takes place annually on June 8th. The purpose of the day is to inform the public of the impact of human actions on the ocean.
KMBB Board member, Janice Habersham, educated students and families about the dangers of plastic litter in the Oceans. She also shared about the importance of reducing single-use plastics by recycling.
